Cha Cha is a Latin dance form originated in Cuba in 1953 by Cuban composer and violinist Enrique Jorrín. It is a vibrant and a playful dance with a flirtatious mood to the dance. It is danced on a 4/4 beat. It is one of the 5 major Latin dances and is danced as a Western Classical dance style in Latin-Ballroom competitions all over the world.
